Hi Historica Fans!
Today we had a great day at the Historica Fair.
Let me know your thoughts on the day. Which projects stood out among the 300? Could you imagine being a soldier in Old York and dancing in uniform? How did you feel about the judging process? What did you learn about yourself as a learner? What would you do differently next time? Any other thoughts?

I was very happy I had gotten choosen to go to the Historics Fair! I felt that a lot of the Projects done in groups were better because they were done by grade 7′s and 8′s. One of them was so cool!It had a big model and there were people and they had people that were made by hand!!!But I am proud because are’s were good too!

I loved it, it was amazing. It was scary when the judges came, but still it was fun. We saw presentations done for us, we even got to participate in some. We saw gr.8 and 7, theirs were very interesting, they had more info, and more creations. Some of theirs were bad, for example, one had a paragraph in the middle, and pictures on other sides.None of us made it, but I know our projects were amazing, including our boards and our judging/presentation. One person, named Harsh, got an award from the Hudson’s Bay Company. That’s it!

I loved Historica Fair. It was great. I had a lot of fun. I learned a lot about Martin Frobisher. I tried my hardest and I believe that I did a great job. Luckily, I made it to the second round at the Civic Centre. Over there, i got an award for the best project on explorers. It was from the Hudson’s bay company. I got a blanket, a book, and a certificate. I did a great job. I had lots of fun!
